RAL Finishes/Custom Finishes

Matching specified RAL colors and/or paint manufacturer paint finishes can be done but can present issues that can make it difficult.

For instance, even if a powder coat finish is ordered to match the name/number of the specified finish, often times the percentage of gloss and/or texture will likely vary from a given manufacturer’s color swatch.

Because of this variance, we recommend ordering your products with a zinc-rich primer powder coat, which can be easily painted to match by the project’s onsite painting contractor.

Care should be taken to remove specified installed accessories, like dampers, air deflectors, and concealment louvers, prior to painting.
